Starting tonight, and going into Saturday and Sunday, I will be performing maintenance on the server that hosts my web sites. This should not effect static content like downloads (FAST, FSMs, etc). Maintenance with be performed on the software that powers this site as well as the backend (database). If you experience some odd pages or errors, don’t worry. Try back in a few minutes or a few hours if you continue to get the errors.
I will update this post when the maintenance is complete.

I found a new theme, called Subtle, that I wanted to give a try. I saw it on another site and I was struck by it’s simple and effective layout. I still plan on customizing the layout, but this was a welcome change from the bland default WP style.

No, this isn’t turning into a VW site!
FAST is Nissan’s parts program. You can use it to look up part numbers, cross reference part numbers (To see if you can pull a part from another vehicle), and much more.
I was able to get the files I was missing from my previous FAST installation (the old ones were corrupt). I uploaded all of the FAST discs (in RAR format) to this server for download. Most of the discs cover USDM as well as JDM vehicles. I also complied a short document on how to install FAST. The “Nissan FAST” link under Pages will brings youto the section of the site with all of the files.

I recently upgraded the hosting account that runs this site. Right now this is a step in the direction of offering more “services” to people with SR powered cars. Soon there will be a public gallery which will allow people to register and gain 100 MB of space to store their pictures. Before that is rolled out I want to make sure that everything goes smoothly with the hosting upgrade. The new server will be running some slightly different software which should speed things up but it may also require some modifications on my part. Eventually I will fire up Photoshop and create a better design for this place.
